Sibley, Iowa — If you are in charge of an Osceola County nonprofit that needs some funds for a project, here’s a reminder — grant applications for the 2021/2022 Community Foundation of Osceola County grant cycle will be accepted starting on October 1, 2021.
According to foundation spokesperson Stephanie Neppl, the Foundation recently received a notice that nearly $101,500 will be available to distribute for the new grant cycle.
She tells us grants may be awarded in arts & culture, community affairs & development, education, environmental education & protection, health, historical preservation, human services, and youth programs.
Completed applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on November 5th to be considered for funding. The application materials are online at https://osceolacountyia.gov/living-here/community-foundation-of-osceola-county. Grants will be awarded in late January 2022.
Neppl tells us application limits are set at $5,000 per application per applicant.

Applicants are reminded that 7 copies of your grant application must be received by the Community Foundation of Osceola County, 300 7th Street, Sibley, Iowa 51249 by 4 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021. E-mailed or hand-written applications will not be accepted.
